Thane: A 30-year-old housewife from Badlapur leaped from the fourth floor terrace of a building along with her son and died, a police official said here today.
Police sub-inspector A P Kumbhar of the Badlapur police station told PTI that the lady who has been identified as Ushaben Jadeja had been suffering from fits.

She had left her home today morning at around 10 am when it was time to take her four-year-old son Ajay to school, the police official said.
However, instead of going to school, the lady climbed up the stairs and jumped from the top of her building along with her son, killing herself and her son on the spot, the police official said.
The incident took place at the Green Lawns complex of Belavali locality, when her husband and her elder son aged seven were away at work and school respectively, the police official said.
The police has registered a case of accidental death and sent their bodies for postmortem, the police official said.
