The Trip 2 shoot begins with new entries, destinations and stories

Gippi (2016) director Sonam Nair is directing the second season of the web series, The Trip, as well. A shoot schedule was held in Pondicherry recently. While Shweta Tripathi, Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi are on board from the first season, Amyra Dastur is the latest addition. "Amyra plays the character of Ira, who is Nazia's [Dua's character] cousin and it will be interesting to see how she fits into the story," said Nair. Shweta, who wed rapper Chaitnya Sharma last month, had to forego the honeymoon for the shoot. Work comes first.
