Twinkle Khanna, along with husband Akshay Kumar and daughter Nitara are vacationing on the beaches of Goa. Akshay, who has his film PadMan's release slated for a February 9, is currently having some family-time. 'Mrs Funnybones' posted an adorable picture of daddy Akshay keeping an eye on daughter Nitara playing on the beach on her social media account. Being the writer that she is, she has described the picture in a beautiful and detailed manner. “Trapping golden sunlight within the pores of your skin, hair salty from the hazy blue sea, the blazing red of the Recheado mackerel going down the throat- the colours and flavours of my beloved Goa,” wrote Twinkle.

Akshay and Twinkle's 'PadMan'(which the star wife is producing) was earlier slated to release on January 25, 2018. However, Akshay chose to postpone his film's release date, considering the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-delayed 'Padmaavat' featuring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor.

Talking about 'PadMan', the film revolves around a man who produces cost-effective sanitary napkins for the naïve women living in the remote areas and educating them about its importance. The film also stars actress Sonam Kapoor in a pivotal role. It is inspired by the life of Coimbatore-based Arunachalam Muruganantham, who found a way to make affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village. The film has been written and directed by R. Balki.
