Anil Raghunath Galande, a 38-year-old man ended his life by hanging himself to a ceiling fan at his house at Yerawada late evening. The police couldn't trace the reason behind his suicide. The police said that his body was brought to Sassoon hospital morgue for post-mortem and viscera have been kept aside for further investigations.

Swapanali Shankar Khanekar, a 16-year-old college girl tried to end her life by consuming a bottle of kerosene at her home in Nigdi last night.
She was rushed to Yeshwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital (YCM) at Pimpri for immediate treatment by her brother Neelesh.
Swapnali was frustrated because her parents constantly quarrelled with each other.
"My sister warned both of them and consumed kerosene to stop the fight between them," said Neelesh. According to the YCM doctors, her condition is stable.
