The driver and the conductor of a milk van were killed when their vehicle rammed into a roadside stationary truck on the Grand Trunk road in Bihar's Gaya district today, the police said. Sherghati Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Upendra Kumar said that the incident occurred near Pathalkatti village when a milk van, which was on its way to Sherghati from Hazaribagh, rammed into a roadside stationary truck after the driver lost his control over the vehicle.

Both the driver and the conductor died on the spot in the incident, SDPO said adding that the deceased were identified as driver Mohammad Munna (35) and conductor Mohammad Golden (30), both residents of Hazaribagh district.
The police sent the bodies to the Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital, Gaya, for postmortem examination, the SDPO said.
