Voter dies while waiting in queue

A 50-year-old voter breathed his last while waiting in the queue to cast his vote at Yogiraj Vidyalaya in Sakinaka yesterday morning. The deceased has been identified as Lalmani Rammoorat Vishwakarma, a resident of Ward number 154, Mistry Chawl.

Around 9 am, while waiting for the queue to move ahead, Vishwakarma sat on a nearby water tank. Suddenly he collapsed to the ground. It was Sanjay Tiwari, an independent candidate, who rushed him to Rajawadi Hospital where the doctor's declared him dead.

Sources said that Vishwakarma had suffered two heart attacks in the past, and the third one claimed his life. The police have informed Vishwakarma's family in Uttar Pradesh about his death.
