It's obvious that she was probably confused too. Then again, maybe she knew exactly what she wanted. I'm not sure what you need help with. She obviously thought it was okay to have sex with you assuming you were her friend and were okay with it too, at the time. Now that she no longer lives in the same city, sex is no longer an option, which means the two of you may have to go back to your earlier relationship. If you want to change the status of that, she will need to feel the same way you do. Either way, she is the only one who has an answer to your question, assuming you have one.

My girlfriend and I have been together for over a year now. The first six months were great, and we used to have great sex, too. Lately, she seems withdrawn and isn't as excited about it as I am. This is affecting our relationship too, obviously. I asked her about it and she says she just isn't interested at the moment. Is there anything I can do to change the way she feels?
Not everyone feels the need to have sex all the time. It's a phase she is going through because it's normal. You can get her to be more excited about sex if you make it exciting enough. Ask her what you can do to make things better for her in bed. If that doesn't work, why not talk to her about your life instead? Opening up emotionally may actually be better for you both, and may eventually lead to the two of you being more intimate physically. Until either of these things happens, maybe you just need to give her some time.
