Red Bull Racing shrugged off the technical row that has so far cast a shadow over the British Grand Prix weekend by locking out the front row of the Silverstone grid.

Mark Webber, who won last year's race,u00a0grabbed pole with a fastest lap of one minute and 30.399 seconds. It was Webber's second pole this season and the seventh of his career. Joining the Australian in an all Red Bull front row is German defending champion and this season's runaway leader Sebastian Vettel.

Spaniard Fernando Alonso was third fastest for Ferrari ahead of teammate Brazilian Felipe Massa.

Briton Jenson Button, in the leading McLaren, was fifth and his team-mate and compatriot Lewis Hamilton was only able to qualify in 10th place.

Force India's Di Resta 6th fastest
Scot Paul di Resta, took sixth place on the grid for the Force India team while teammate Adrian Sutil lines up in 11th. The challenge for Di Resta now will be to translate the qualifying performance into Sunday's race. ufffd
