Aatikaay Narula, the young CEO of ESN (Evolution Sports Nutrition) gives a calm, modest smile when asked how he feels about being recognised by the South Africans for the most exciting supplement products design

“Since the day I returned from South Africa, I’ve had a dream of putting India on the world map as a leader in the sports and fitness industry,” he says.

Who: Aatikaay Narula, CEO, Evolution Sports Nutrition
What: About the health and fitness industry in India

Staying ahead of competition
What’s business without some competition at the end of the day? A recent simple and routine sampling activity by the concerned department was blown up and misrepresented by our competitors to damage our impeccable reputation. Honestly, I laughed when this news came out.

At par with the best
ESN’s manufacturing standards are on par with the best, and world class manufacturing standards have ensured that our products are among the highest selling products in the country. I believe that the FDA in India has some of the highest safety standards across the world, which cannot be said about the rest of the world. The reports of the testing of the recent samples which have been collected from ESN by the FDA will prove the real worth of our products. I believe that the regulators have a very important role in ensuring that the industry provides the best quality. Such random tests should be done on all dietary supplements to safeguard the consumer and to ensure consumer health. In fact, ESN is among the few IS0 9001-2000 certified supplement manufacturing companies in the world. For this, I thank and congratulate the FDA.

Customer first
There is a lot of potential in the health and fitness industry in India and I plan to ensure that ESN contributes in ensuring that better healthier products are available on shelves to consumers. ESN comes with a personal guarantee, that of Jonty Rhodes, the legendary South African cricketer. Our customers always come first.
