7-year-old boy dies after falling into open gutter

In a tragic incident, seven-year old Mehboob Haider Ali Sheikh lost his life after he fell into an open gutter at Tulshet Pada in Bhandup (West)

The incident took place yesterday near Tulshet Pada Municipal School. Senior Inspector, Bhandup police station, Srirang Nagauda said, “The boy was playing near the gutter with one of his friends at 3 pm when he slipped and fell into the gutter.

The fire brigade officials reached the to the spot immediately, but they were only able to pull him out around 4 pm.” After Sheikh was rescued, he was rushed to M T Agarwal Hospital in Mulund where he was declared dead on arrival. He was a resident of a chawl in Sriram Nagar. u00a0
