1. The Bake Room

The ignition of his journey began inside his home from baking for his friends and family to serve the top families of the city. 5. Studio 143

Saloni Shah, a passionate investment banker turned home baker and the owner of the brand Studio One Four Three. The brand started its journey from being a cake decorator and now has a studio set up working with an all-women team of 6. Studio One Four Three thrives to create every occasion with a dash of innovativeness and great taste through their creative sweet desserts. Saloni is known for making the cakes look Instagram-worthy as they are a unique boutique cake shop. Studio One Four Three specializes in creating wedding cakes from 1 ft tall to 6 ft tall cake or hanging chandelier cakes and creating each client's aspirations to come alive on the cake with edible fondant.

6. The Happy Place

The Happy Place is the brainchild of 2 sisters Rima Mehta and Seema Amin who are both single parents. Seema Amin is a registered dietitian from the US who helps in formulating healthy guilt-free recipes and Rima Mehta handles the creative end as she was a practicing architect and decided to quit that and pursue her passion for baking by opening The Happy Place. It was born out of their quest to give their children some honestly healthier, wholesome yet lip-smacking desserts and snacks to fill their tiffins. The Happy place is known for its Gluten-free, Vegan, Eggless, Preservative free recipes. At the same time, The Happy Place is synonymous with the niche product Dessert Chocolate Pizza which is their first indulgent range product and their bestseller.

Karina Parwani is a pastry chef who has been fond of baking ever since she was a child. As the brand name suggests, YOUR SUGAR STORY is all about fulfilling customers' dessert needs. May it be sinful, healthier, or vegan; they’ve got it covered! Rushali, who has an eye for baking her cakes differently, started this brand when she was just 22. What’s different is her love for detailed customizing. She loves planning each dessert /cake/ tart and adding that little “extra”. There’s an array of flavors and textures she works with making sure there’s something for everyone’s palate. 9. One More Bite 

Zahra Thakur was an aspiring VET but she was always passionate about baking. In her childhood, she was a dessert lover and could never be content with it. Inspired by her passion for desserts, One More bite was started. One More Bite is more than 8 years old and now has expanded to a dedicated baking studio. Jennifer Juneja, a Goan, an ex-banker by profession, and mother to Gen-Zs founded Manna Patisserie in 2021. Manna Patisserie was born out of a passionate desire to change the way Mumbai perceives cakes and to feed the busy city some fresh, homemade, simple, moist tea cakes. These cakes at Manna stand on their own without the extra frills and added calories of icings and frostings.
