As a kid, Faisal always wanted to be a fighter, in life and in the ring. Unlike other kids who wish to be something different every second of the day, Faisal was determined to be a fighter. Any human would be intrigued with such conviction from a young boy, the question that follows is, how and what made him decide that he wanted to be a fighter. This is where the words of the great Muhammad Ali plays in, “We can’t be brave without experiencing fear”. As a child, Faisal was a subject to a lot of bullying. In his school days, he wasn’t the physically intimidating kind of child but rather a timid shy boy. In every area of life, strength has had its adverse effects on the weak. Faisal’s weakness propelled his thoughts in the direction of strength and endurance. To be a subject of bullying is witnessing fear to its highest level since a weak man can’t stand so much oppression physically and mentally. Faisal’s days of being the weak character were at its end since he realised that he wasn’t going to be the one to hide in the corner in a fight. He wanted to be the reason people never picked another fight. Him being a fighter wasn’t just a statement any young kid made but a life mantra that he carried ahead into winning championships around the world and leading a successful career.
Gone were the days of hiding in the corner. Faisal decided to take up kickboxing to condition him physically and mentally into becoming a strong human.
In the following years, he was titled the 4 Times Champion of his high school from 2002 to 2006. Destiny shines bright upon people who wake up and take up a fight and Faisal very soon became the kid of good destiny. Faisal was later in the big leagues competing internationally in Jordan and winning the National Championship.
A kid hiding in the corner of the room was now a hope to millions of youth. Every story of a fighter has an important lesson to learn, Faisal’s story taught us the “never give up” attitude. Faisal soon started coaching the youth in Kick Boxing and led them to various championships.
A part of his life was about being strong and never backing out of a fight but another part of his life was to fly high. His love for flying got him into the aviation industry where he now leads a successful career as a Sales Director at Vistajet.
This story brings the age-long legend to life, ''Never judge a book by its cover''.
