Her expertise extends to high-risk obstetrics and preventive care, making her an invaluable asset in managing complex cases. She is also known for her excellent communication skills with patients and their families, as well as her ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jagdale has been a front-line worker in managing COVID-19 patients and has performed and assisted in over 1000 surgeries with a 99% patient satisfaction rate. She is experienced in conducting exploratory laparotomies, caesarean sections, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, and obstetric hysterectomies. On a daily basis, she examines more than 40 patients and is adept at handling labor room emergencies as the first on call. Additionally, she has effectively managed infertility patients and has taught and assisted in various surgeries for postgraduate students.

Previously, Dr. Jagdale served as an Assistant Professor at BJMC Pune & Sassoon Hospital, where she managed labor room emergencies and performed over 400 surgeries. She was also a Resident Doctor at BJMC and SGH Pune, where she participated in clinical meetings, seminars, and presented cases. She was selected for the TYSA Torrent Young Scholar Award in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2016 and conducted research on maternal and fetal outcomes in pregnant patients with jaundice.

In a notable medical achievement, Dr. Jagdale, along with her colleagues at Sahyadri Hospitals, successfully treated a 13-year-old girl named Priya (name changed) for a rare ovarian condition. Priya underwent a laparoscopic cystectomy to remove a large and complex ovarian cyst. The case was unique due to the rarity of such conditions in premenarcheal girls and the successful minimally invasive surgical intervention. Post-surgery, Priya recovered quickly and the histopathological examination revealed the cyst was endometriotic. Dr. Jagdale highlighted the importance of early diagnosis and appropriate intervention, emphasizing that such rare cases provide valuable learning opportunities in pediatric gynaecology.

Dr. Gauri Jagdale continues to strive for excellence in her field, aiming to extend her love for serving the community through her expertise and compassionate care.
