Sonu Sood, who gained the tag of messiah after his philanthropic work during the COVID-19 pandemic, has received backlash over his recent video. The actor, who recently shared a video advocating road safety, is now at the receiving end for riding a bike without a helmet or any other safety gear. This video has also landed Sonu in legal trouble, as the Spiti police have launched an investigation against him.
In the viral video, Sonu can be seen riding through Spiti’s snow-covered roads shirtless, wearing only shorts and sunglasses. The clip, posted by a local Instagram page, was captioned, “This is Spiti… only the real ones make it here.” As the video went viral, netizens started questioning his participation in the road safety campaign.

Meanwhile, Lahaul-Spiti Police launched an investigation against Sood and shared an official statement that reads, “A video is going viral on social media in which a Bollywood actor is seen violating traffic rules in the Lahaul-Spiti district. According to preliminary information, the video appears to be from the year 2023. The task of investigating the authenticity has been handed over to DySP Headquarters, Kyelang.”
They added, “Whatever necessary action is required as per the law will be taken by the district police. District Police Lahaul-Spiti appeals to all citizens and tourists to follow traffic rules and adopt disciplined and responsible behaviour."

Last week, there was a very big accident in Nagpur, in which my wife, her nephew, and her sister were inside the car. The whole world has seen the condition of the car. You know that if anything saved them, it was the seat belt."
