Adnan Sami has been honoured for his outstanding achievement in music at the seventh Asian Awards in London over the weekend. The award was presented by Lord Karan Billimoria, the chairman of the awards jury panel. Sami, who is presently touring Europe, says, "I am honoured and humbled."
"I dedicate this award to my late father and receive it in the name of India."
Sami is delighted, given that it is a prestigious award under the patronage of the British Parliament. Sachin Tendulkar accepted the Asian Fellowship award at the event.
