Rumours about Ajay Devgn refusing a guest appearance in Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor' have finally been put to rest. Industry sources have revealed that the actor, who was last seen in last year's dud 'Action Jackson', has already flown down to Delhi to shoot for his minute-long cameo. The romantic-drama stars Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead while Rekha has a key role.

A source says, "A couple of months ago, there was a lot of buzz about Devgn declining the cameo offer because he wanted to focus on his home production, 'Shivaay'. But that has been proved wrong as he is already present on the set to honour his commitment to the makers of Fitoor."

After the first leg of shoot in the Kashmir Valley, the film's cast and crew have been in the national capital since mid-February. Apart from Devgn, actress-producer Lara Dutta and singer Talat Aziz will also be seen in special appearances. "Lara and Devgn are currently on the set to start their respective shoot. We will be filming in Delhi till March 18," adds a source working on the project.

While the film's director remained unavailable for comment, a source close to Devgn confirms the story, adding: "He has started prepping up for the role. He will begin shooting shortly."
