Last night, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol attended the opening ceremony of the Kolkata International Film Festival at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.
British filmmaker Michael Winterbottom and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee were present at the inaugural function. Big B delivered the main address and got nostalgic as he had shot for the Chhookar Mere Mann Ko song in Yaarana (1981) at the stadium. SRK said it was always wonderful to visit Kolkata. Bachchan later requested Banerjee to spare him from inaugurating the next edition of the festival. But she asked, "How can we organise a festival without Amitabh Bachchan?"
