Apart from being one of the very few films to be based on the varna system, there is something else that the makers of Shudra The Rising are proud of.
Prashant Sharma, who’s handling the film’s business and promotions says that the film’s official trailer was unveiled from Deekshabhoomi on Buddha Purnima.
He tells CS, “The entire cast and crew were pleasantly surprised and honoured when invited by the Buddha Samaj’s religious gurus at Nagpur for the film to be unveiled.”
