The couple had a church wedding in the morning followed by a Hindu ceremony in the evening. The actress wore a Sabyasachi lehenga for the ceremony.
The menu was vegetarian and the couple cut a 10-tier wedding cake. Asin and Rahul's close friend Akshay Kumar, who played matchmaker, attended the ceremony.
The star was in the capital to promote his upcoming film 'Airlift' co-starring Nimrat Kaur. The newly-weds will host a lavish wedding reception for their pals and Bollywood folk in Mumbai on January 23.
