Vihir, produced by ABCL, ran to a full house at the Berlin International Film Festival
My Name Is Khan is not the only Indian film which wowed audiences at the Berlin International Film Festival. Vihir, a Marathi film produced by Amitabh Bachchan Corp Ltd (ABCL) ran to a full house at the Berlin International Film Festival.
Director Umesh Kulkarni was overjoyed with the warm reception the film received. Vihir tells the story of two friendsu00a0teenagers Sameer and Nachiketu00a0and how they come to terms with the concept of death. Vihir was screened on Sunday in the Generation 14 plus section for young adults. Kulkarni and members of the cast attended the screening. ABCL's CEO Wing Commander (Retd) Ramesh Pulapaka was at the festival as well. The company decided to back Vihir as it was meaningful cinema and Jaya Bachchan firmly believed in its script. They will release the film on March 5.
