Yeh andar ki baat hai

Pic/ Shadab Khan

Will someone please teach our girls how to wear minis and not flash their inners a la Britney Spears? It's possible, you know. Freida Pinto flashed more than her smile at the press meet of Slumdog Millionaire at Imax Big at Wadala.

Name-calling

Like all lovers have pet names for each other, Kangana Raunat and boyfriend Adhyayan Suman do too. While he calls her Shonz, she calls him Adhu. Why? "I call him that because I feel he is my adha (half), a part of me." Erm, that was just a bit too much saccharine for us...

Family love

Rima Jain (nee Kapoor) is originally a Chemburiteu00a0she was born and brought up in Raj Kapoor's Deonar bungalow Krishna Cottage. She is truly happy about the Oscar nomination for Slumdog Millionaire. Her Facebook (she is an avid Facebooker) says: "Now this is too good... Anil Kapoor now is Chembur to the Oscars! Jai ho for that." What a nice thought and pun on CC2C, and you thought these (orginal) Kapoors hated their (once-upon-a-time) lesser known cousins.

Cryptic clues

A birdie who happened to be on a Mumbai-New Delhi flight spotted Soha Ali Khan solve the cryptic crossword in one go. Apparently the actress is a big crossword buff, especially the cryptic ones, that would leave most of us racking our brains for clues. Here's one actress who does not like the easy things in life.

What an eyesore!

If you ever decide to go to Amrita Rao's house, don't forget to carry your dark glasses. The last visitor to the actress's home is walking around with burnt retinas. Mainly because of the pink sofas and curtains in her hall. The visitor who is presently consulting an eye specialist says, "When I asked her about the bright colours around, she gushed about how her dad had done the interiors. She cooed how all the guests to their home enquired about the creative mind behind the pink parlour." If only she knew! You know what's worse though? The actress even dresses in these sofa and drape fabrics. Don't tell us papa is designing those too!

Mindless chatter

In The Flag, Ashmit Patel constantly mouths the one-liner Dimaag ka daliya mat bana (Don't irritate me). The actor is so addicted to it that he keeps on uttering it in his daily routine. He admits, "I have got so habituated to it that I have made it a part of my daily conversations." The film which also stars Milind Soman, Rahul Dev and Vijay Raaz hits screens next month.

Pushed to March

Robby Grewal's Aloo Chaat which was scheduled for a February 27 release has now been pushed back to March 13. The film's promos have hit the screens from the weekend even though the stars Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff have been lukewarm towards the promotions so far due to certain issues with the director as reported ('Grouses over Grewal'; Hitlist, January 22). Grow up guysu2026 it is your film too!
