In my free time, I love to read, especially philosophical books. Sometimes, I also read popular fiction novels to kill time. Currently, I am reading the Laws of the Spirit World by Bhavnagri Khorshed. I also read a lot of Hindi plays. Watching movies is another passion of mine. I can watch three-four films back to back on a single day. I love dramatic films. 
When I am extremely stressed out, I like to unwind by listening to Sufi music or ghazals. I like Abida Parveen, Jagjit Singh and Kishore Kumar numbers. I am not too much into fitness, but I practise yoga three-four times a week. On off days, I like to hangout with friends at cafes or restaurants. I have a number of friends outside the television industry, and it is always interesting to hear stories of what's happening in their field of work.u00a0
I also have a passion for cars, so whenever a friend of mine buys a car, I am the first to take it out for a test drive. I enjoy going for long drives with my girlfriend, Jaya. Besides these, I have an interest in medicines, and I am the in-house doctor for the team of my show, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.
