Veteran star Dharmendra was rushed to a Vile Parle hospital on Monday evening following a persistent stomach infection. The 81-year-old actor's health is now stated to be stable by doctors.
Dr Vishesh Agarwal, MD, Internal Medicine-Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, who is treating Dharmendra, said, "He was suffering from gastro infection and was admitted [to the hospital] at around 4 pm on Monday. The infection has subsided now. He is eating properly and his body has been responding well to treatment. We want to keep him under observation for the next two days before discharging him."
