Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have ended their 2-year-long cold war. While Sanjay had planned on meeting Farah and her triplets soon, Farah took the first step on Wednesday. She sent him a casserole of his favourite dish u2013 home cooked pulao as the maverick filmmaker celebrated his 46th birthday. That was all it took to for Sanjay to forgive and forget and the two to renew their friendship.
Farah and Sanjay were good friends and even judged one season of Jhalak Dikhla Ja together. However, matters soured when money came between them. Farah 's Om Shanti Om and Sanjay's Saawariya released on the same date in 2007. OSO was a hit and Saawariya was not. While Sanjay insisted publicly that it was not a problem, Farah was attributed as having spoken negatively about Sanjay's mother Leela. This angered the Khamoshi director and the two had stopped speaking to each other.
