Fitness crazy Shilpa Shetty turns down fast food endorsement

Shilpa Shetty's love for fitness means that she had to turn down an offer from a fast food brand

Shilpa Shetty is known for being fitness conscious and she recently made it clear that she wouldn’t compromise on her principles. Sources say that the actress, who was approached by an international fast food brand, said no to their lucrative offer. They were apparently willing to pay her a huge sum of money and they only wanted her to tweet regularly about them.

“But Shilpa stuck to her guns and turned down the offer as she is a health and fitness icon. She does not want to promote junk food; in fact, she stays away from such items,” says a source.

Shilpa says, “I practice what I preach. In my home, junk food isn’t encouraged. There’s nothing wrong with having it occasionally but I wouldn’t promote it or consume it on a daily basis.”
