Shankar told CS, “From the first time in school when I sang ‘Jab daal daal par soney ki’ to singing at Kargil at 15,000ft on ground zero, I feel we have made great progress.”

He says he dreams of an India where no child goes hungry. Ehsaan too sas he was overwhelmed to be at a place like Kargil. “The pride that goes through our souls when we see the Indian Flag flying is quadrupled when you see the soldiers saluting it,” he added.u00a0
