Makers of Frieda Pinto's debut film sign Rajkumar Yadav opposite her
There is a new man in Freida Pinto’s life. And no, we are not talking about her romantic dalliances. Buzz is that the makers of Freida’s first-ever Bollywood film have roped in Rajkumar Yadav to star opposite her.
A source says, “Now all eyes are on Freida as this film with Navdeep Singh and Vikramaditya Motwane will be her first Hindi project. Rajkumar has made a mark for himself with Kai Po Che. In fact, the makers were waiting for its release before they could announce theirs.”
An insider also states that Freida has asked Vikram to be present on the sets throughout the shooting process. “Since Navdeep wasn’t able to complete his last film with Abhay Deol and Genelia D’souza, Freida wanted a clause in the contract. If anything goes haywire, then Vikram will have to come on board as the director and complete the film.”
Both Rajkumar and Navdeep remained unavailable for comment.
