For someone who is always in shape, it is surprising that John Abraham frowns at fancy diet plans. His daily menu is as simple as ours. He tells CS, "I love simple home-cooked food, which is less oily and spicy. That's my secret of good health. I think that fad diets are unhealthy and there are no shortcuts to weight loss." Read on to find out how you can make a way to John's heart through his stomach:

On the menu...
I like Parsi food as well as Malayalam cuisine. Basically, I enjoy Indian food. I start my day with a good breakfast. My mom makes some wonderful Puttu and Appams, which I enjoy with coconut milk.

For lunch, I can't do without yellow dal and bajra rotis. Bajra is a great source of dietary fibre. I have never binged in my entire life. I don't understand the concept. I eat throughout the day.

You will find walnuts, raisins and protein bars in my car or bag that help me keep my energy levels high all day long.u00a0

Served hot
In Parsi food, I love Dhansak and fish preparations. I am an occasional fish eater. My favourite eating places in Mumbai are Caf ufffd Brittania at Ballard Pier and Jimmy Boy, which serves good Parsi food. When it comes to international cuisine, I enjoy Sushi.

I have recently started enjoying Italian food. Recently, I had gone to eat at Hollywood actor Danny DiVito's restaurant in Miami, which serves some amazing Italian food. After my meal, the waiter came with the bill that read: Tip is 20 per cent of the total bill. Well, it was tough to digest that (laughs).

Mom's special
Bipasha is a foodie. She likes to try out exotic dishes. I love her Thai Green Curry and Phat noodles. I cannot cook. My favourite cook is my mom.

Whichever part of the world I may be in, she will first ask me, Bhonu Kairoo (Have you eaten)? That's such a wonderful thing and that's what I love about mothers!
