Girls just wanna have fun

With her tough-girl looks and her penchant for hardcore action roles, Neha Dhupia doesn't look the girly types. But the actress is quick to differ. She loves shopping and salons and gossiping as much as any other girl. She speaks to CS about five girly things that top her list:



1. Shop stop
I can just shop and shopu00a0-- dresses, bags, shoes, sunglassesu00a0-- you name it and I'll be out there buying it. From Bandra's boutiques to New York and from Delhi to London, I can shop everywhere. And before you ask me, yes it is retail therapy. I can go in the middle of the desert and shop and justify it smartly to myself without any guilt pangs!

2. Nailing 'emu00a0
I love going for manicures and pedicures. They are just the perfect way to spend time gossiping with your girlfriends sitting next to you, while someone else pampers you. Also, it is an ideal excuse to not pick up your phoneu00a0- too bad, my hands are busy!

3. Lunch with my bunch
Having lunch in floral dresses with my girlfriends is so much fun. But the real reason is that most of my friends are either married or dating someone, so afternoons are the best time to catch up. And if we get lucky, we extend our meetings into coffee sessions or even a shopping trip.

4. Gossip gaga
A good gossip session with my girlfriends completely relaxes me. We get to talk about cute boys and the not-so nice girls in town (laughs). But seriously, when I get to vent out my frustration or even small things that trouble me, it de-stresses me. A huge load is off my chest and everyone needs that kind of an outlet once in a while.

5. Film fatalles
My idea of indulgence is watching a chick flick with my friends. Sex And The City, Notebook, Devil Wears Prada, Sisterhood Of Travelling Pants are some of my favourites. These films are so relaxingu00a0-- you don't really have to strain your headu00a0-- all they need is passive viewing and a sense of humour.
