Himesh Reshammiya has been roped in to play the lead in 'Heeriye', a social, romantic and sensitive drama set in Kanpur.

The film marks the debut of film-critic Vishal Mishra as a writer-director. "...'Heeriye' is a very unique love story weaved in the current social scenario. I am very excited and looking forward to it," says Mishra.
The film also features Tigmanshu Dhulia in a pivotal role.
The film's production house, Essel Vision, will select the heroine of the film by launching an innovative worldwide campaign called #FindingHeeriye.
Produced by Essel Vision Productions Limited and HR Musik, 'Heeriye' is all set to go on floors this winter.
