My mom tells me that even as a kid, I loved matching my shoes with my dresses. That love for shoes only grew with age. Even now, whenever I go shopping, I end up buying more footwear than clothes and jewellery. My shoe collection comprises of the most expensive brands as well as stuff that I have picked up from the local markets. When I'm buying a pair, all that I look for is the design and comfort.

New collection

Since I update my shoe rack every season, I end up giving out a lot of my pairs to friends and family. I am a heel and a stiletto person, but in the summers, I don't shy away from wearing the cool strappy wedges and the airy flats. People usually buy shoes to go with their dresses, but for me it is the opposite. Since I have shoes in all colours, I go looking for dresses after I have bought my shoes.

Striking gold

I simply love the last pair of Prada sandals that I picked up. It's a dull gold pair with beautiful stones on it (check out the picture.) The pair cost me a bomb, but I would like to believe that it was worth it. That's the current favourite in my collection. I am waiting for a special occasion to don that special pair. This is my first pair with a little bling on it. I have always stayed away from the loud designs, but now I wouldn't mind experimenting with them. In fact, now I want to have a full collection of shoes with bling. I guess I don't do things in half measures!
