Celebrities came out in full force to support an auction of Indian modern art organised to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12.

Celebrities came out in full force to support an auction of Indian modern art organised to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12. Aamir Khan who was present at the auction said he fully supports the cause and that we should all do that we can to help people who have been through such a tragedy. Anil Kapoor, who as also present, said he was proud that today India has become economically so strong that it can afford to help other countries. Dino Morea, Pooja Bedi, Kangna Ranaut and Resul Pookutty were also present to lend their support.

On Jan 12, 2010, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 on the Richter scale killed more than 200,000 people and destroyed much of Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince and its surroundings.
