Dorian 'N' Dino

We would like to call this the picture of Dorian Gray. Unfortunately though, it is Dorian Yates.

Six-time winner and former Mr Olympia Dorian Yates, a professional bodybuilder was at the Gold's Gym in Bandra (W) on Monday evening, to promote a nutrition product to hit Indian shelves in two months time. General cacophony reigned at the gym, as Dorian Yates was late(s).

Hmmm, we like that rhyme, by half-an-hour. The gym erupted in applause when Yates walked in. An hour later, Dino Morea appeared, a great example of Bollywood's obsession with hot bods and Popeye-biceps, and soon it was a fusillade of flashes as cameras popped everywhere. A D & D evening for the workout set.

Romancing the Nano

This one is jumping on the bandwagon, quite literally. Adarsh Jain, producer-director-writer of Bhojpuri film Pawan Purvaiya recorded a song for his new film in Tata's latest, the Nano.

Actor-singer Pawan Singh sang Bhage San San Pyar Ki Gaadi composed by Madhukar Anand. Pawan is a young, popular hero with three hits and one currently running superhit film (Pratigya) to his credit.

He will be lip-syncing to his own romantic number with Pakhi Hegde in the car! Incidentally, ages ago there was a song in Kishore Kumar's voice Caron Mein Ek Car Suni Hai that highlighted the Impala, the only imported car patronised by film stars then.

Tanu goes the Thai way!

Tanushree Dutta, our very own former Miss India, believes in health and beauty care. This time, we caught her indulging in a luxurious foot massage!

After performing at a series of shows all over India this Bengali beauty decided to indulge and treat herself to a Thai foot massage. She says, "I believe in keeping my feet clean and pampered.

I am really fond of Thai massages as it works on the pressure points to release knots of tension from the whole foot leaving your body and mind both relaxed."

Bobby bored

Bobby Deol the gadget freak, is now claiming that he's not that into it anymore, "I am bored of buying phones, cars or any kind of gadgets.

The only new gadget that I have bought is the new MacBook which is faster than the earlier version and is completely revamped."

There are rumours that cousin Abhay Deol might also be part of the film. Bobs refutes that, "He isn't in this film but I saw Dev D and loved it. It's the last good film I saw."

Asian award for Priyanka

On Monday, Priyanka Chopra was awarded the Nielsen Box Office Record in Hong Kong. The awards nite was part of the Hong Kong film festival.

The award is for outstanding contribution to Asian films and had several stars from all over Asia were in attendance.

Lording it up

Anil Kapoor was invited for a prestigious dinner at the House of Lords in London last week. The event was to felicitate and celebrate Slumdog Millionaire with Danny Boyle, Anil Kapoor, and the producers of the film.

Anil's wife Sunita accompanied him on the trip. After dinner everyone was taken on a tour of the House of Lords by British MP, Keith Vaz.

Besides Amitabh Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, Anil becomes the third Indian actor to step into the hallowed halls of the House of Lords.

Anil was stunned by theu00a0 architecture and old-world charm of the place and notes, "Yes, we were all invited for dinner at the House of Lords.

It was great fun all of us getting together again with Danny and his team. Now it's time to move ahead. Slumdog is past now. I am looking forward to the release of my next production, Short Kut."
