The actress apparently is pulling all stops to ensure that her clashing dates don't jeopardise her opportunity to star opposite the actor in Karan Johar's next film

Kareena Kapoor may soon be seen sharing the screen space with Emraan Hashmi in Karan Johar’s next — details of which are tightly been kept under wraps. If sources are to be believed, Kareena is taking keen interest in the film and is looking forward to working with Emraan given his recent spate of back-to-back hits.

Apparently, Emraan is fast becoming a favourite in the Karan camp and has already signed his first film with the production directed by Renzil D’Silva.u00a0According to the source, Kareena’s date was initially not fitting into Karan’s schedule. But she is said to be reworking on it to be able to shoot with Emraan. After all, Karan happens to her best buddy in town. She also recently postponed her flight by a day to go to Karan’s birthday bash last week.

Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi’s career graph in Bollywood has witnessed a northward trend. Although he made a noticeable entry thanks to countless onscreen smooches, a turning point in his career occurred with Milan Luthria’s Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. It brought the actor critical acclaim apart from raking in moolah at the box office.

The source adds, “As Kareena and Emraan are a very fresh pair, she’s very keen on working with him. She is excited to be part of the Karan film.”u00a0
