Kim Sharma's boyfriend finally popped the question

Kim Sharma's Spanish boyfriend, Carlos Marin, finally popped the question last week. He zipped into the city on Valentine's Day and took her shopping to a jewellery store and surprised her by buying her a diamond ring.

A source close to Kim says, "Last week, when she asked him about Valentine's Day, Carlos (one of the singers of pop band Il Divo) told her that he was preparing for a concert with his producer Simon Cowell and could not make it. Naturally, she was stunned when he landed up at her doorstep on Saturday."

Kim was surprised when Carlos took her out and bought her a ring at Anmol Jewellers in Bandra. The couple met at an international airport. They have been dating for over a year now. The source continues, "On Valentine's Day, they went for lunch and hung out for some time before winding up for a romantic candlelight dinner at Kim's home. The rumours of Yuvraj Singh and Kim getting back together are not true. Kim and Yuvi are great friends but there's nothing more to that. Kim has moved on with Carlos."

Kim is giddy with happiness as her boyfriend is in the city for the next ten days. She says, "I was highly excited when Carlos landed up to give me a surprise. I was struggling to find a single spinster friend to have dinner with. I had oiled my hair and resigned myself to a day of miserable solitude when Carlos turned up. The ring was an additional delight and is simply beautiful!"
