Maanayata apparently shed copious tears after watching jailed hubby Sanjay Dutt's new cop caper
Maanayata Dutt has been consistently avoiding a run-in with the media ever since hubby Sanjay Dutt surrendered himself to the courts to serve his prison sentence. But on the evening of the premiere of the actor’s new film on Thursday, Maanayata and the film’s team was out in full force to express their support for the jailed star.
According to sources, while watching the film in which Sanjay plays a cop, Maanayata became teary-eyed. In fact, even after the film got over, Sanju’s wife remained sombre while interacting with the media.
A source says, “The producers and the film’s team along with Sanjay’s close friend Bunty Walia were by Maanayata’s side. There was a special audio-visual screened that consisted of the actor’s childhood photographs.
