My sister Ekta

On the occasion of Bhai Dooj, sisters are meant to pray for the safety of their brothers. Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who will be next seen in Neeraj Vora's Run Bhola Run, too has one such protective sister in Ekta Kapoor, the first lady of Indian television. Tusshar tells CS more about their relationship:



1. Friendly terms
Ekta's more of a friend than an elder sister. We do advise each other, being part of the same family. But our fields are totally different so it's always more of suggestions than directions. We ask for and respect each other opinions about our work.

2. She's protective
Ekta's been very protective about me right since we were kids. But then, she's an extremely protective person. People have this opinion of her as a tough businesswoman but when it comes to family, Ekta's a real softie.u00a0

3. Ambitious plans
Yes, my sister is a very ambitious lady. She wants me to scale great heights in my career. Ekta keeps on checking my work and offering ideas on areas where I can improve. I also try and follow her shows on television so that I can offer some inputs. Being her brother, I want her to succeed in whatever she does in life.u00a0

4. What I admire about Ekta
I love her never-say-die spirit. She doesn't give up easily. Ekta's a strong-minded woman and extremely loyal towards her loved ones. These are the traits I admire most in her.u00a0
