Neetu Chandra may have fallen off the Bollywood radar, but she has a reason to cheer. Her international film, Block 12, directed by Greek filmmaker Kyriacos Tofarides is set to release in India in October.
The film, which has done the festival rounds, deals with how the powers that-be manipulate the resources and people of a country.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had recommended her name to Tofarides for the project. She shot for it four years ago and even learnt Greek for the role. Neetu plays the goddess of love. She says, "Love comes from the most unexpected places."
