Singer Neha Bhasin has revamped the classic folk number to give it a soft vibe. Explaining why she zeroed in on the track, Bhasin says, "It is a personal favourite. I ran an online poll for fans to suggest what should be my next Punjabi folk release.
Chitta Kukkad emerged as a clear winner." She adds that the song's lyrics inspired her to revisit it. "They are emotional and full of love. Our audio is heavy on acoustic arrangements," says the singer.
