Nikkhil Advani has acquired the necessary permissions for his film on the Batla House encounter, which rolls in September. Operation Batla House took place in September 2008 against alleged Indian Mujahideen terrorists in Jamia Nagar, Delhi.

The filmmaker claims he has a no-objection certificate from all the concerned parties. The film is based on the life of encounter specialist Mohan Chand Sharma, who led the police action in which two suspected terrorists were killed. Buzz is Saif Ali Khan will play the cop.
