Palak Muchhal giving up her award. Here's why...

Singer Palak Muchhal who recently won an award for her song Icecream Khaungi for the film, The Xpose, is planning to pass on the trophy to composer Himesh Reshammiya as a gesture of gratitude.

Palak has reasons to be grateful as her earlier song Photocopy from Jai Ho was also a hit and Himesh gave her the opportunity to sing the Jumme Ki Raat song which features in Salman Khan's upcoming film Kick. Incidentally this is Palak's hat-trick with Salman.
