Priyanka replaces Akshay, again

On Tuesday night, Priyanka Chopra was named brand ambassador for a new range of jeans at a suburban hotel in Mumbai. The announcement raised eyebrows as the range is brought out by the same brand, which had come under a lot of controversy last year due to its other brand ambassador, Akshay Kumar unzipping his jeans in public. It seems the announcement has once again heated up the cold war between Priyanka and Akshay, as this is the second time the actress has replaced the Khiladi Kumar. Just last month, Priyanka had replaced Akki as the host of a very popular reality show.

The two had been at odds since rumours of an affair had emerged during the shoot of Andaaz. While they had denied all rumours and even acted together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, it seems the uneasy truce between two of Bollywood's biggest stars is now at an end.
