Prithviraj began his acting career in the theatres of Lyallpur and Peshawar in the 1920s. He later featured in films like "Cinema Girl", "Sher-e-Arab", "Prince Vijaykumar", "Alam Ara", "Vidyapati" and "Mughal-e-Azam".
