It is learnt that the sequence being canned required SRK to walk out the door. An eye-witness says that during one of the retakes, a door fell on the actor, after which he was rushed to Nanavati hospital for a checkup. Accompanied by several members of the film unit -- including actors Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood -- SRK underwent a CT scan as well.

Dr Ashok Hatolkar, Superintendent of Nanavati Hospital, says that the actor had minor abrasions on his face and knees. "Our medical investigations also reveal some trauma effected on his leg muscles but there was no fracture or brain injury," he said.

Karim Morani, one of the producers of the film, said that it was a minor injury and no stitches were required. "We are going to resume shooting immediately," he said. The actor's wife Gauri and son Aryan too rushed to the hospital after hearing about the accident.
