Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that he was not the first choice for Raj Kanwar's 'Deewana' (1992), which shot him to fame.
Armaan Kohli was to star in the romantic drama opposite the late Divya Bharti, but walked out of the project after the first schedule. SRK was then roped in.
Armaan is responsible for making me a star, a candid SRK stated on a chat show recently.
