The actor apparently has asked some time off from his hectic shoot schedule to rehearse his script for an upcoming awards gala that he will be hosting.

Sasha had been shooting for a song sequence for Rambo Rajkumar when he was approached to host the show at Macau. A source from the sets says, “Shahid had been rehearsing his dance number from the past couple of weeks as it was his first song with Prabhu.

However, when the organisers offered him the chance to co-host the show with Shah Rukh Khan, he could not turn them down. Moreover, the team of the award ceremony too was keen to have him on board and requested him to accommodate their dates.”

Apparently Prabhu also agreed to let him fly off to Macau for the ceremony. He even let him practise his lines on his sets. A unit-hand says, “Shahid was spotted doing mock rehearsals for his part as he did not get much time to prepare.

He used to work on his lines post pack-up and whenever he would get some free time.” Says Shahid, “I had a great time co-hosting with Farhan last year and it’s a privilege to do it again, especially with SRK.”u00a0
