Hook Ya Crook finishes ahead of schedule, John to devote free time to workshops for next film, where he plays a 'normal guy'!

In an industry notorious for delays and cancellations, David Dhawan's Hook Ya Crook has wrapped up way ahead of schedule, and lead actor John Abraham, who's by now habituated to delays (his most cherished film Aashayen is yet to be released), is dumbstruck.

God has His plans

The actor would've ideally likes to have taken off for a holiday but says, "God has his own plans. I'm plunging into a month-long workshop for Abbas Tyrewala's 1-800-Love, something I wouldn't have been able to do if David's film hadn't wrapped up well in advance."

The workshop with Abbas and his wife Pakhi will change John's speech pattern and body language, making them more casual and connected with the London-based character he plays in the film.

John also needs to work to normalise his 31-inch waist and 6-feet-1-inch heightu00a0u00a0 to make them appear more real than Greek god-like. "I just have to be a normal guy in Abbas' film which is what I am anyway. Just have to sharpen my skills at normalcy."

What's the big deal?

There are no New York-like nude-worthy shots in 1-800-Love.u00a0 John asks, "What's the big deal about nudity? When you see the scene in New York, you wouldn't even notice my nudity. It comes at such a harrowing juncture of the story."

The one friend that John has in the film industry is Neil Nitin Mukesh. "I'm fiercely protective towards him. I can kill for him. You've to see what the boy has done in New York."
