Shekhar Kapoor and Anil too busy for Mr India sequel

Shekhar Kapur and Anil Kapoor pass the buck on doing a sequel to the film

Anil Kapoor is missing Mr India and so is Shekhar Kapur. However, the two haven't yet been able to decide when the film will go on floors. With Anil travelling to the US to fulfil new commitments and Shekhar signing up to play a judge on a reality show, the wait for the film's sequel just got longer.



When asked if he'd like to see Mr India revived, Anil says, "Definitely, I would like to see that happen. But I spoke to Shekhar recently and joked that I wouldn't be interested in Mr India. I told him to get the script ready and that we'd make the film. Script hoga toh banayenge nahi toh nahi." Quite curious, coming from the man who famously (and very recently) said, "We don't read scripts in India."

On the other hand, Shekhar who's in town to be a judge on the Indian version of Britain's Got Talent says, "Anil has gone away for a year and I don't know when he will be back. He is going to be a Hollywood star now; he's no longer in India. We will have to wait for him to get tired of that. I think he is going to make too much money and do too much to be able to do anything else!"

Though Mr India isn't happening for now, Kapur is thrilled to be a part of India's Got Talent. "I believe we have huge talent in our country. I know that the UK version made superstars out of ordinary people based on mere talent. I'm looking forward to having loads of fun while being a judge." IGT will air on Colors June-end and will also have two other judges than Shekhar.
