The right diet
I believe that your skin needs nourishment from inside, so I eat a lot of salads and fruits on a daily basis. I have a shot of Aloe Vera juice every morning, which is great for the skin. Throughout the day, I munch on lots of strawberries, apples, oranges, pineapple, figs, gooseberries and watermelon.
Skin care regime
I cleanse, tone and moisturise my face twice a day. I exfoliate my skin once a week followed by a rich face mask. Also, twice a week I use face oil or a face balm at night to nourish my skin. I swear by Clarins products; they smell divine. I have used them since I was 16.
Battling sun tan
I use Lotus sun block in spf50 and I have a spf100 sun block that I picked up in France. Vaseline Healthy White is a good moisturiser to use if you have tanned. If I tan a lot, I use this homemade besan, dahi and lemon remedy my nani used to make for me while I grew up. She was always obsessive if I got tanned! I guess it's a Punjabi thing!u00a0
Less is more
I don't usually like facials as I have extremely sensitive skin and at times, facials have damaged my skin! I think I must have had about two or three my whole life. My mum hasn't had even one facial till date and her skin is flawless. I often use an orange peel on my face. It works magic when squeezed and rubbed around blackhead areas.
Tress stress
I use the Bumble and Bumble Cocoa shampoo and conditioner. And for my serum, I use Umberrto Gianni. They also have a hair moisturiser which you have to use on dry hair before bed time u2014 you wake up with silky hair! I also get trims every two months. I also try going for a treatment once a month or a head massage with almond oil.
