Actress Sridevi wished all her fans a happy and prosperous "Puthandu" and "Pohela Boishakh"

The 49-year-old also went ahead and wished Bengali fans "Pohela Boishakh" and tweeted: "Also wishing all my dear Bengali well-wishers Pohela Boishakh on this auspicious day. Shubho Nabo Barsho!"
Pohela Boishakh is the first day of the Bengali calendar. The traditional greeting for Bengali New Year is "Shubho nobo borsho".
